Rooting vivo devices
vivo — and its sub-brand iQOO — is one of the most locked-down major Android brands for rooting. vivo does not offer a general official bootloader unlock. There is no public unlock tool, no 'deep testing' application for most models, and outside a few limited regional or developer programs the bootloader simply cannot be opened. For the large majority of retail vivo and iQOO devices, that makes conventional Magisk rooting impossible, and it is important to be upfront about it: no legitimate tool or service can unlock a vivo bootloader that vivo has not provided a method for.
Funtouch OS and OriginOS add their own restrictions on top. If you own a vivo or iQOO device and rooting is essential to you, the honest answer for most models is that it cannot be done — and any service claiming otherwise for an ordinary retail unit should be treated with suspicion. We will always check your specific model and tell you the truth before taking any payment.

vivo rooting — frequently asked questions
Can vivo or iQOO phones be rooted?
For most retail models, no. vivo does not provide a general official bootloader unlock, and without one, rooting is impossible. Only a few limited regional or developer units are exceptions.
Is there any tool to unlock a vivo bootloader?
No legitimate one. If vivo has not provided an unlock method for your model, no third-party tool can force it — claims otherwise are scams.
Why is vivo harder than Xiaomi or Samsung?
Xiaomi and Samsung provide official (if restrictive) unlock paths. vivo offers no general unlock program at all, so the bootloader stays closed on most devices.
